Kolping House in Dornbirn Living at the Kolpinghaus
Our house has a long and proud tradition, providing accommodation in Dornbirn for more than 150 years. Originally, it was young local and migrant craftsmen who formed Adolph Kolpings journeymen’s associations here. Today, not only craftsmen, workers, and apprentices but also students from HTL Dornbirn and the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences benefit from the supportive and family-like environment of the Kolping community – an important foundation for both professional training and personal development.
At present, the Kolping House offers affordable accommodation for around 100 students and 50 professionals, all within easy reach of the city center. The minimum rental period is one month for professionals and one semester for students.
Our House for Students, Professionals, and Travelers
Students can enjoy a pleasant and focused atmosphere throughout the semester, with the opportunity to devote themselves fully to their studies. Thanks to its convenient yet quiet location, the Kolping House provides the perfect setting for both students and professionals seeking temporary housing.
During the summer months – from mid-July to mid-August – our rooms are also available to holidaymakers and groups on a daily basis. This is an ideal chance to discover the beauty of Dornbirn, set off on excursions, or simply enjoy being close to the town centre. Comfortable rooms for families and solo travelers, flexible catering options, and a variety of leisure activities ensure a homely and welcoming experience at our Summer Guest House.
